SOUL is the landscape register of Atelier Marx. These works carry the spirit of the country itself: the rock face, the water, the sky over a valley, the slow movement of a glacier or a salt flat. Materials are gathered on site and ground by hand into pigment, which becomes the surface of the work. Through that surface, the land speaks.
MIND, SOUL, BODY
Three collections run in parallel across every series. MIND brings the face. SOUL brings the landscape. BODY brings the form, surface, and weight of the painting itself. Each works with materials gathered on site and ground by hand into pigment.
